I rarely ever write reviews. The hospitality here is amazing. Liz is a great bartender. So considerate and thoughtful to all her guests. Worth visiting just for her. Honestly she deserves a raise for her service and kindness. Goes above and beyond for all people who come in. Best spot in NOLA easily :)

In a city full of cocktail bars, this has hands-down been our go-to spot for the last 5 years. Each time we come to Cure, it is the same stellar service and drinks. Their happy hour, liquor selection, as well as their daily punch (always refreshing and fun) is incredible. You cannot go wrong with any drink from their staples to their seasonal menu. Additionally, if they have it, they will make it (Cock N' Bull). Their drinks were actually the inspiration for our speciality cocktails at our wedding. Our favorite spot to sit is at the bar so that we can talk with the bartenders. Outside is also great- we've even gone outside in hot months but the fans and shade make it enjoyable. We have brought family and friends here over the past few years, and they constantly rave about it. The whole staff is great and hospitable. Huge shout out to Liz Kelley who has made each visit spectacular and is always welcoming. Multiple times, I have been unsure about what I wanted/ wanted to try something new and her suggestions have never disappointed. No matter how long its been since we've seen her, we just pick up conversation like it was yesterday. Overall, the whole staff is great. For food, it's hard to pick favorites... but if we had to it would be the mushroom toast. The deviled eggs are also up there and are something I now make for holidays thanks to Cure book we received as a wedding gift.

Still hits a chord in more ways than one. Whether sitting with a bourbon in the back patio or chatting with the bar staff or not chatting at all. I have a great experience every time. There have been a few days where all I want is an old fashion and quiet time at the bar and the staff respect that. Other times I want to chat about nothing interesting and the staff respect that as well. This place is some much in so many different ways. Great drinks and great hospitality.

The food 5 stars is substituted for cocktails for this review. Named #1 bar in the US by Food and Wine Magazine in the April 2025 edition, Cure is a low-key, uncrowded bar. I expected a New York scene, with 600 people crowding into a space for 100. Not so. I’m here on a Saturday night at 5pm and it’s half empty. Happily, I sit and order the XO Sidecar. Delicious and citrusy, it quenches and delivers. Next up is the This Time Tomorrow #2, which is a whiskey sour with lemongrass, banana and chai. The foaminess from the egg white on top gives it a gin-fizz like texture. It finishes dry, with a slight astringency because of the egg white. Delicious. Great service. Michelin Star quality easily. Come here and forget the French Quarter.

Cure is one of my favorite spots for happy hour. It strikes the perfect balance between upscale and laid-back. The cocktails are always excellent, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I really like the charcuterie plates. This time we tried the trout dip and it was amazing! Highly recommend this place.

Nationally recognized and away from the hustle of downtown, located on Freret Street, Cure is a great spot for a variety of true craft cocktails. We enjoyed several different drinks and small plates during our visit. They also have a nice patio, weather permitting. FYI, in advance, a 20% service charge is added to every check.

Beautiful drinks at Cure while visiting New Orleans. They focus on spirits to make fantastic libations. Levi was the best bartender. Cheers to a great experience!
